-I moved to the Bay Area in 2017 and have spent the last 5 years immersing myself in it's hospitality industry. That aspect of me has not changed, and that’s what I love about Food and Beverage. It is constantly changing, like art or fashion. We take orders, a seemingly innocuous list of items, and turn it into prose. Chaos is our medium and we live for it. I really enjoy taking guest’s nights into my hands and crafting a really unforgettable experience personally curated for them and their needs and desires. I have helped create menus at numerous bars. I have a culinary arts degree which I obtained to better serve me in my craft although I do love prep and the line still. I would LOVE the opportunity to get an advanced sommelier certification and cicerone certification. I have extensive knowledge of blending spirits, aging them, creating syrups, tinctures, bitters, shrubs and infusions. I keep a constant thirst for knowledge in food and beverage and I love what I do. I’m also fully aware of keeping the pulse of the city in my mind, while not losing the classic mindset of a traditional bartender which is to be simply friendly, and fast. Lots of experience in high volume, craft cocktail bars. Reliable and hardworking, I am always on time, and am flexible to my work’s schedule. I am a fast learner and take pride in all of my work. I get along well with all my co-workers, and am highly self-motivated, making me an excellent team player. I attended Culinary School at the Sesnon House in Santa Cruz. I would one day like to start my own restaurant, whether it be catering, food truck, or a traditional brick and mortar medium. I have started a beverage catering company, and am usually consulting to numerous bars, usually non gratis, but I believe in building up our community, ESPECIALLY when times are hard as they are now. We have to adapt, and work together in order for our industry to thrive.
