I was in charge of running and operating the sewer plant for the KJ Poultry Processing Plant, with daily operations consisting of: running the sewer system, ordering the chemicals, mixing the chemicals, and taking samples. I was also responsible for keeping the place in a clean and orderly condition and 24/7 responsibility of the facility. I was also the head of environmental compliance, which involved: Making sure that the entire processing and sewer facilities were in full compliance with the USEPA and NYSDEC environmental regulation. I applied for permits, made monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections, and made sure that they meet all the permit guidelines. I made sure that all permits and inspections were up to date, and communicated with the lawyers and state and federal officials. This included dealing with any issue that arose and responding to emails and letters in a timely professional manner.
