 Responsible for the day to day management and implementation of a 12-month Food Assistance for Ebola-Affected and Food Insecure Populations of Beni and Lubero (FABELU) Project in North Kivu with a goal to alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity among vulnerable, displaced IDPs and host communities. More specifically, the project aims to reduce vulnerability of crisis for affected IDPs and host communities, especially youth, women, and children through food vouchers distribution for feeder roads rehabilitation and social cohesion activities. The project is targeting 30,000 direct beneficiaries (180,000 people) I am working with a project team of 43 international and national staff and teams of implementing partners

Management and implementation of the 5-year USDA funded AMPLIFIES Ghana Project. This is a Poultry Value Chain Project that aims at building downstream value chain capacity for Ghana’s agriculture industry, specifically strengthening market linkages for locally produced maize and soybean commodities utilized in feed and poultry production.The objectives of AMPLIFIES are to:1. Increase agricultural productivity in the poultry value chain by increasing the quantity and lowering the cost of poultry feed through the reduction of post-harvest loss and procurement inefficiencies of primary feed ingredients;2. Increase agricultural productivity in the poultry sector by improving poultry feed quality through the improvement of feed testing capacity and the demonstration of the benefits of quality feed;3. Increase trade of eggs through awareness campaigns and the trade of commercialized poultry feed through improved distribution networks.

 Rolled out the Agri-business interventions for the 2012 season that provided support to 2,349 farmers Developed agri-business concept note for the Project Undertook cost-benefit analysis of maize production in the project cluster Conducted farming and land tenure system study within West Mamprusi and Builsa districts Trained 23 technical staff (Agriculture Extension Agents (AEAs) on improved maize production technologies Established 34 on-farm collaborative demonstration farms for technology transfer to farmers Conducted harvesting and post-harvest training for 23 technical officers and 26 Farmer Based Oganisation (FBO) leaders Developed manual for crop yield estimation and tools for field data collection

Amansie West District, Ashanti Region Of Ghana

 Coordinated agricultural and environmental activities in 30 contiguous communities comprising of about 30,000 farmers in Amansie West District Worked as a member of the project planning, implementation, monitoring, and management team, supervising and coordinating project activities, 7 Agricultural Extension officers, and 24 Cocoa Farmer Field School (FFS) Facilitators  Conducted several capacity building programmes to enhance performances and achieve project goals including training of 313 trainers in cocoa establishment and management in 2007 Collaborated with multi-stakeholders, e.g. STCP, MoFA, Fisheries, CSSVD and Seed Production Units of COCOBOD, and Research Institutions like CRIG, CRI, SRI, and FORIG to develop and adopt improved cocoa and food crop production technologies Being part of a multi-sectoral project has made me an excellent team player in project implementation, multi-skilled, adaptable, and to be flexible and good time Manager The experience helped me to develop excellent time management skills as prioritizing and subdividing tasks to manageable units; and effective stakeholder engagement which resulted in developing various synergies.

 Worked as the team leader at Winneba office on the USAID Food Security Project integrating agriculture and health and sanitation activities. Responsibilities included conducting clients’ needs assessment, agro-inputs distribution to clients, loans recovery, data collection, and generating timely reports, developing and documenting best practices and sharing them with staff and major stakeholders. Successfully coordinated the activities of Extension Development Fund (EDF) Project in Kwahu South and Suhum Kraboa Coaltar Districts in Eastern Region in addition to responsibilities at Winneba operational areas.  Achievements during the period include raising loan recovery rate from below 13% to nearly 80%; high operational efficiency and effectiveness; mentoring four farmers to win District Best Farmer Awards; and successfully mobilizing community members to undertake tree planting projects including roadside afforestation along Winneba-Cape Coast trunk road.  Linked farmers to market centres and buyers, and assisted them in constructing several quality storage facilities to facilitate marketing of farmers’ produce and minimize post-harvest losses
