Engineer on Contract No H2672 CLP Black Point Power Station CCGT D1 Project (Contract Value: HK$ 0.8 billion). Works include excavation and lateral supports, deep shafts and pipe jacking for the delivery of a new cooling water intake and discharge facility including a new pumping station, underground cooling water pipelines, a maintenance shaft and the construction of a turbine hall that will be used to house the power generation equipment and associated facilities.Mainly responsible for pile caps construction (challenging monolithic pour of 2200m3 concrete inclusive), interface management of subcontractors, method statements preparation, construction programme management, quality control of welding works, contractual claims, RFIs issuance, and safety management. I have successfully helped speeding up the site progress.

From Graduate Engineer (II) to Engineer on Pre-Contract and Services Team in Singapore. Involves in the Design and Construction of Sewer Tunnels for the Deep Tunnel Sewerage System Phase 2 Project (Contracts Value: SGD$ 2.2 billion), which extends the existing deep tunnel system to collect used water from the western and southern parts of Singapore. When completed, it will have a conveyance system that is made up of 60 km of link sewers and 40 km of deep tunnels; as well as the Tuas Water Reclamation Plant, known as Tuas WRP.Mainly responsible for the Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) coordination and planning as well as assisting in the development of construction methodologies and programming in civil and structural works. Successfully won the bid of one of the contracts worth SGD$ 500M, equivalent to HKD 2.5 Billion)

12/2016 – 03/2017 Graduate Engineer (II) on Pre-Contract and Services Team in Singapore. Involved in few key projects such as the Contract 3801 APM and Tunnels as well as Contract P583 T1 Annex Building Expansion of Hong Kong International Airport tendering.Mainly responsible for the Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) coordination and planning and assisting in construction phasings. Successfully won the bid for Contract P583 T1 Annex Building Expansion of Hong Kong International Airport worth HKD 2 Billion), which includes including the construction of a seven-storey reinforced concrete structure with steel truss roof with associated new check-in counters, baggage reclaim carousels, departure security screening channels, and departure immigration counters

10/2015 – 10/2016 Graduate Engineer on HY/2012/07 Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok Link Southern Connection Viaduct Section (Contract Value: HK$ 8 billion). The Southern Connection Viaduct Section, which is part of the 9km long TM-CLKL, mainly includes the design and construction of a dual two-lane sea viaduct of approximately 1.6 km long between the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities and North Lantau. It also includes construction of nine approach viaducts and other associated works including slope improvement, environmental protection and mitigation measuresResponsible as the Independent Design Checker of the permanent work design (deck segments, piers and piles), construction sequences, design changes associated works of the related bridge construction. Involves in the application of software such as the SAP2000, SAFE and RM Model. 05/2016 – 08/2016 Graduate Engineer on MTR Contract Shatin Central Link SCL1111 Hung Hom North Approach Tunnels (Contract Value HK$ 3.3 billion). The project involves detailed design of the tunnels associated with Hung Hom Station. A key challenge for the station has been developing an efficient interchange with existing and planned lines and the need to working in and around an operating railway.Responsible for design of the reinstatement of retaining wall and staircase near the associated tunnel works.

Graduate Engineer on SCL1112 – Hung Hom Station and Stabling Sidings (Contract Value HK$5.2 billion). The contract includes the construction of new railway tunnels and platforms underneath the existing Hung Hom Station and also under the Hong Kong Coliseum (a 12,500 seat multipurpose indoor stadium). The existing station will be integrated with the new platforms, and extensive underpinning and modification of the existing podium and coliseum structures will be undertaken using diaphragm wall and piling equipment operating within headroom limits as low as 5m. The contract also includes demolition of the International Mail Centre, MTR Freight Operations Building and a number of railway ancillary facilities. During construction the existing station will remain operational with no disruption to services.Responsible for site supervision and management of D-Wall construction, including diversion of existing utilities, ground investigations, monitoring works of existing CLP tunnel, remedial works and statutory documents submission (as-built drawings preparation and coordination with subcontractor).
