Healthcare equipment requires connection to the network to enable real-time remote support, proactive diagnostic of issues, asset management and innovative digital solutions that improves customer's productivity. Enabled by the success of my management trainee program, i was offered the opportunity to lead the regional connectivity leader role in ASEAN, to drive operation mechanism and to deploy and strategize roadmap for effective connectivity solutions within ASEAN. GE's graduate leadership program offers cross-functional exposures and aims to nurture early-career professionals with domain expertise as well as leadership capabilities. My role-assignments are within GE's Healthcare business, where i am exposed to an holistic view of the business by completing 3 rotations in different functions, focusing on leading and deliver ad-hoc projects.Rotation 1 : Training Department, Project Analyst (9 mos)• Developed a new training interface (Training Portal) tool to streamline & automate training activities. As the project owner, i provided service support and user training before handover.• Simplified operations management by developing tool via Excel Macro to identify training competency & certification gap. Results show 90% time reduction from convention methods.• Support in providing training insights, running cost-benefit analysis and function strategy.Rotation 2: Productivity Department, Operations Specialist (8 mos)• Developed custom tool that automates escalation of hospital site readiness defects.• Focus in supporting Philippines team to drive productivity projects & operations to ensure effective management of resources.• Auditor for Power & Grounding environment of our Healthcare systems in Philippines. Provided remote training and support to the local field team.Rotation 3: Network Connectivity Department, Operations Lead (11 mos)• Interim connectivity leader for ASEAN region, where i was given the opportunity to be the focal point of our global team and local country teams to run connectivity strategies, which enable our remote services in ASEAN.• Responsibilities include analyzing data, trends, improving field engineer competency, drive marketing strategies, manage escalations and troubleshooting. • Delivered an improvement by 10% within 6 months and met Y/E targets by Q3.• Interim cybersecurity regional focal point to resolve customer queries on cyber issues and product vulnerabilities.
