As part of my role, I am responsible for finding suitable land for residential development in Texas, negotiating prices and agreements with brokers and developers, and maintaining ongoing communication with them. Additionally, I am involved in obtaining necessary permits and variances from the city and overseeing land clearing and development of infrastructure and facilities such as storage, shopping centers, and office parks. I manage budgets, schedules, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.

As a highly experienced project manager, my primary objective is to ensure that all project specifications and standards are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. I prioritize the safety of everyone involved in the project and ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained from the city to maintain the construction's progression.I believe in maintaining clear and consistent communication with project owners and the construction crew, and I am always available to address any concerns or questions they may have. I work closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that every aspect of the project is executed to the highest standards.My most notable project as Superintendent was the construction of the JCB Facility, now known as Sunstate Equipment Co, which was a 20,000 square foot building located on a 2.5-acre property. I oversaw the construction of the 10,156 square foot building and the development of the tract of land. The project was completed in 2016.Throughout the project, I managed the construction team, monitored progress, and resolved any issues that arose on-site.

I was fortunate to have assisted with pro formas, bank draws, and scheduling during my time at the company. Working with the President, I learned about lot development and sales. It was exciting to be involved in discussions with utility companies and cities of San Antonio and New Braunfels regarding lots, negotiating prices per lot and linear feet. I was proud to be part of the construction teams for both My Attic Self Storage (which was sold in 2018) and West Rayford Shopping Center, anchored by Kroger.

As a project manager, I managed multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. I worked closely with the director to implement and maintain our online content plan. Even under tight deadlines, I developed high-level design concepts for projects. I actively participated in promoting participants’ critical thinking and hosted and moderated workshops, addressing participants’ questions. In addition to my project management duties, I coordinated the company’s budgeting via email and phone with Certified Public Accountants in both Mexico and the USA. I also managed the company’s online presence and social media on platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. I prepared and analyzed monthly invoices and financial records, ensuring the company was always operating efficiently.
