-incharge of the rawl materials stores-receiving materials ,issuing and preparing purchase requistions for materials to be bought.-determines rawl materials requirements based upon 3 months sales forecast.-Maintaining re-order levels to avoid stockouts and overstocking.-initiates inspection and testing of materials by technical department -ensure that stocktake is carried out on monthly basis.-ensuring good service to production by issuing the right materials ,right quanties and at the right time.-supervises stores personnel and ensures personnel and good working relationships.-ensures compliance to ISO 9001,14001 and 18001 rules and regulations.-reports to the senior management accountant.-expediting of outstanding orders and goods in transit.
