Isaac H. Marks, Sr., represents a variety of corporate, institutional, religious, municipal, development and individual clients in areas such as commercial litigation and transactions, commercial and residential real estate transactions, administrative law, government relations, family law and estate planning. He also counsels clients on achieving business objectives and business development, business growth, problem solving, risk management and strategic planning. Mr. Marks has guided non-profit and religious organizations through various legal situations such as acquisition and construction of sanctuaries, development of senior citizen housing, operation of private schools, creation and operation of community development corporations, compensation and employment agreements, compliance with governmental regulations, disciplinary actions, and congregational disputes. He has represented church clients with a collective congregational membership in excess of 100,000 members. In his real estate transactions practice, Mr. Marks represents clients in land use appeals before administrative agencies, the Maryland Circuit Courts, and the Maryland Courts of Appeals. He also represented one of the first charter schools approved to operate in Prince George’s County, Maryland.Drawing on the depth of his experience in a wide array of legal fields, Mr. Marks skillfully counsels individuals in their family law and estate planning needs.
