My main role is to serve along each stage of the supply line and deploy to crisis situations in some of the toughest locations to offer operational and logistical support to emergency programs across the globe to ensure effective response. Envisaged is procurement, warehousing, and transportation of goods, assets, and human resources for disaster response and humanitarian assistance.

Key Deliverables included; -Creation of procurement process templates with inserted formulas which can’t be edited or tampered with.-Creation of scientific bid evaluation methodology that incorporates value for money.-Develop Key Performance indicators (KPIs) for all main components of the supply chain. -Draft contracts for goods, works and services with emphasis on rights and liabilities of SOS Children’s village Somalia and contractors. -Produce a well written and comprehensive Logistics manual for SOS Children’s village Somalia incorporating Procurement, fleet management, inventory management, asset management and warehousing management.

My forte involved overseeing and managing the financial and procurement planning, preparation, implementation and performance reporting of a 4.9 million Euros COVID-19 Fair Trade EmergencyInitiative, funded by the GIZ to provide immediate relief to and support prevention of the further spread of the COVID- 19 pandemic on at-risk producers in nine countries in Africa.

My main role was to offer Technical Advisory & Capacity Support in Procurement and Contract Management in the Building Resilient Urban Communities (BRUC) – Asia project with funding support from ADB (which is funded by DFID). The USD 5.5 million project is designed to ensure that poor urban dwellers in target cities, in Philippines, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar especially vulnerable groups, are able to realize their rights and improve their well-being despite the impact of different shocks and stresses, including climate change
