I've been in the electrical construction industry since 2005 when I started as a green helper with Starr Electric Company on a job in West Columbia, South Carolina. I worked in the field for nearly 10 years and along the way, I worked on mostly hospital projects, completed a 4-year apprenticeship program, and earned a Master Electrician certification through the MASC. I left the field to work in purchasing and warehouse management and eventually moved my way into pre-construction. I'm also an NCCER certified instructor, performance evaluator, and test proctor and have been actively instructing an Electrical Level 3 class since 2018. I have a passion for educating our workforce to not only help everyone amass more knowledge of their trade but to also build consistency in our execution of work.
