I am passionate about improving investment outcomes for clients. I draw on my experience in risk and portfolio management, economic research and investment strategy, central banking and academic life to deliver great investment solutions for clients across the retail and institutional landscape.I have been working in financial markets for more than a decade, in Australia, Asia and the UK. I previously was the Head of Capital Markets Research, Asia Pacific, at Willis Towers Watson in Hong Kong. Prior to working in HK, I was responsible for economic and investment strategy at NSW Treasury Corporation, risk management at Lloyds Banking Group and policy analysis at the Reserve Bank of Australia.I am passionate about continuing education. I gained a PhD in Economics from the University of Sydney in 2014, having also studied at the University of Oxford and the University of Tasmania. In 2019, I completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification, and now sit on the Board of the CIMA Society of Australia. I have been the University of Tasmania as Senior Industry Fellow in Financial Planning for the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics, and now hold an Adjunct Senior Lecturer position for the School.Outside of work, I spend as much time as possible with my young family. I’m learning to play tennis alongside my two boys and trying to remain involved in the local Burnie community.
