Analyzed fairness of current rental at HBCT (Hutchison Busan Container Terminal) in preparation to make rental reduction request to relevant Ministry and Port Authority. Analyzed current economic and political environment that could affect the international construction market, participated in various research reports awarded by public institutions• Examined co-financing opportunities with Global Infrastructure Fund established by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Infrastructure in 2009 including World Bank Group (IBRD & MIGA), EBRD, IDB, IsDB and OPIC.• Completed research papers titled ‘Trends in Infrastructure Project Finance’, ‘Mobilizing MDBs’ financial instruments on Overseas Plant Projects’, ‘Current Issues on Korea’s Construction Guarantee Bonds on International Projects’, ‘Overseas Urban Development Strategy’, ‘Localization as a Strategy for Sustainable Overseas Construction Business.’ • Led many white papers on issues related to overseas construction projects especially on topics such as finance, guarantees, FTA, foreign policies and regulatory environments.• Undertook a research on International Construction Project Risk Assessment to facilitate bond issuance by Korean ECAs including K-Exim, K-Sure, Seoul Guarantee Insurance and Construction Guarantee of Korea.
