I am a Bristol based artist, designer and video editor. Since graduating with a degree in Fine Art, I have founded various art collectives, organisations and event spaces. I currently work in a university and I am passionate about arts education and believe it is important to learn through making.

Co-FounderTbc Editions Jul 2019 - PresentBristol, England, United Kingdom- Founded this Record label with following the closure of The Brunswick Club arts venue (see below). - The label is a platform for underground artists and musicians with a focus on physical releases. - Work closely with artists to develop a unique and personal package that reflects their work and carefully considers how they want it to be presented and consumed. - My role involves consulting with artists about their concepts, then designing and screenprinting the packages, promotion and organising launch events.

ArtistCopper Sounds Sep 2015 - PresentBristol, England, United Kingdomhttps://www.coppersounds.co.uk/- A collaborative project between myself and Sonny Lee Lightfoot which explores the physical and visual nature of sound. We use traditional and contemporary processes to make sonic objects, which we then present as sculptures, installations and live performances. We have experimented with many different mediums and therefore I have experience in metalwork, bronze casting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, and digital design.- We have performed at high profile venues such as the Bexhill De La Warr Pavilion, Bristol Arnolfini, MK Gallery & the Royal Academy. We have completed several residencies, and this year we have been selected for both the British Ceramics Biennale and the Indian Ceramics Triennale.

DirectorThe Brunswick Club Mar 2017 - Nov 2024Bristol, England, United Kingdom- The Brunswick Club formed in 2017 when a collective of collectives came together to occupy an empty and unused space in the centre of Bristol. - The project is a community of artists, musicians, filmmakers and performers who run workshops, events and international residencies. - After eviction in 2019 by property developers, the project continues nomadically and is supported by Arts Council England.

Co-FounderChamp Sep 2014 - Sep 2023- A group of 12 graduates rented and renovated a warehouse unit into a functioning studio, workshop and gallery. - We formed ‘CHAMP’ collective within the space, and for several years shed our individual artists' names and made work only under our collective title. CHAMP eventually combined with other collectives and moved into The Brunswick Club in 2017.

Qest Britford Bridge Trust Scholar - Bell MakingQest - Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust Jun 2022 - Feb 2023Bristol, England, United Kingdom- I was awarded a QEST scholarship to develop my bronze casting and bell making skills. - Trained with two master craftsmen (Marcus Vergette and David Snoo Wilson) learning traditional bell making techniques as well as the complex musical relationships within bells. - Developed a process of digitally designing bell shapes within CAD, 3D printing the forms in PLA and then casting them in bronze. - Scholarship culminated with a series of nine unique bronze bells, which form part of a new live performance with Copper Sounds.
