Provided assistance to local and foreign companies in civil and commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitration and in complex and several insolvency proceedings.Bankruptcy experience includes:- Advised the Chilean Government in the reorganization proceeding of three of the most important public transport companies in the Chilean capital.- Advised an Australian Bank as the main secured creditor in the liquidation proceeding of an important mining company in Chile.- Advised a Chilean state-owned mining company as an unsecured creditor in the reorganization of Astaldi (Italy and Chile).- Advised a Fortune 500 company as a member of the official committee of unsecured creditors of a local engineering company.- Advised an American multinational cosmetic company in the liquidation of its distributor in Chile.Arbitration experience includes: - Advised a Japanese company in an international arbitration proceeding against its former Chilean distributor under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce. - Argued before the Chilean Supreme Court on behalf of an American company for the recognition of an arbitration award issued in the United States under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.- Advised a Mexican and two Spanish construction companies in an international arbitration against a Chilean state-owned company for the construction of an important infrastructure project, under the rules of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.- Advised a Chilean state-owned entity in an arbitration against a local construction company for the construction of a port in Chile, under the rules of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.- Advised an important Peruvian hedge fund in an international arbitration against a Chilean retail company under the rules of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce.
