Collaborated with other transportation department colleagues and city planners to ensure development applications submitted met transportation bylaw requirements, worked on projects aiming to improve the active transportation and micro mobility options available throughout the city, aided adapting municipal transportation bylaws and policy to new provincial bills, and worked on reports for various transportation improvement initiatives.

Starting in January of 2021, I’ve worked full time during a few co-op terms there and have continued on in part time capacity. I have developed skills and gained experience in project assessment, development, planning, and execution as well as fabrication, machining, and assembly. I’ve worked on several one-off projects for individuals, and larger projects with production runs numbering up to a few thousand. While working on the larger projects I have typically had a role with a narrower scope such as assisting with quality control and assembly at a company we outsourced production to, design and construction of a foot operated switch array, or running our CNC machine to fabricate a few dozen housings. The smaller projects have given me the opportunity to be the project lead, with the responsibility of setting goals and constraints for the project, designing and 3D modeling a product, and sourcing or fabricating any components needed so I could assemble and deliver the solution.
