The company provides tools and consulting services that help clients get the most business value from their collected data. As the Head of Experimentation at WB Games, I defined and executed on a comprehensive strategy for a scalable, self-service experimentation system that enhances game development and marketing efforts across the company’s portfolio. -- Established a strategic vision for experimentation and personalization as a pillar of WB Games transition to a publisher of live service games.-- Developed the platform’s roadmap, architecture, and core analytical loops. -- Led a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and UX designers to build the MVP and multiple iterations thereof, including advanced analytic and experiment planning features.-- Drove adoption into four games through a relentless schedule of demos and progress updates to developer and publisher executives; creative and engineering directors; and marketing, product, & engineering teams-- Delivered results: Revenue and early retention of customer games rose 15%+

At Epic Games, I discovered and pursued passions for tool-building, data democratization, and mentorship. -- Constructed Fortnite’s early matchmaking algorithms, demonstrated the negative impact of skill inequality on player retention, and drove adoption of the first matchmaking system. --Carved out a critical role for analytics in live game operations, using real-time data streams to give game designers instant insight into the performance of the latest game features. -- Spearheaded multiple mentoring and training initiatives for junior analysts, game designers, product managers, and QA team members, growing and fostering an engaged and capable customer base for Epic’s self-service analytics platform.-- Supported the development and release of Epic’s internal experimentation and personalization tools, as well as its privacy-first marketing initiatives.

Scientific Revenue provided a complete paywall optimization and dynamic pricing solution for app publishers in the game industry and beyond. At SciRev, I managed those services for a number of mobile game companies, delivering revenue lift of 30% or more. I also worked alongside the company's very talented data scientists, researching, developing, and testing new methods for creating and precisely targeting players with new, more effective paywalls. Finally, I identified and integrated novel data sets (demographics, market data, transportation usage, etc.) into SciRev's analytical engine. These data allowed us to develop a complete picture of each player in an app's user base.

I developed economic indicators for free-to-play and mobile games and used use that information to drive IAP and virtual good pricing recommendations to customers.

I provided data analysis and design advice to reduce churn and improve conversion and monetization in F2P games in the PC and console space. I specialized in analyzing game economies - the systems by which players earn, use, buy, and sell virtual resources, currencies, goods, and services.
