I am an alumni of University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science. I studied computer languages like C, C++, and learned how they apply to real life problems. I am currently working for AT&T in the Technology Development Program where I am applying my collegiate knowledge towards corporal business.I have a large background in music, mainly in marching band. Being in marching band has taught me how to be dedicated to work as hard as possible every second you get the chance. During these seasons, there would be early hours that span into late nights. Through each rehearsal, I also learned the importance of being a leader and leading by example. I eventually became a section leader and continue applying those leadership skills. Through high school I learned how to take on challenges by taking several difficult courses at once. The most challenging classes included AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, and other advanced placement classes. Taking these challenging courses helped me to prepare for the college workload. Additionally, I was in the STEM academy at my high school. STEM is a project-based learning academy to help high school students prepare for the engineering lifestyle. STEM gave real life scenarios with projects that had up +100 people working in it. This early experience to project has given me insight to how teams function and how to meet deadlines so the final product would be ready in time. In college, I managed my time well because of the AP classes I took in high school. I maintained a GPA of 3.8 through my college education. Additionally, my job during my college years was to tutor other students in lab on the basics of C++ programming. I ended my college career by studying Link Predication across large network with Dr. Sanjukta Bhowmick and Clint Wyatt.
