Hi! I'm a recent graduate who double majored in Computer Science and Chinese Language and Culture at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN.While at Macalester, I developed my programming skills in Python, Java, and C. Through course projects and prototypes, I learned how to research, collaborate, and receive/give constructive feedback to my peers. I also improved my Chinese language considerably and learned about both Chinese and Taiwanese cultural traditions and norms.At Niles North High School, I was heavily involved in my school's Music and Theatre departments throughout my four years. Some of my favorite experiences were "Take One" headlining at Puerto Vallarta Mexico 2020 Jazz Festival, directing "A Memorable One" by Will Boersma for the 2019 Festival of One-Act Plays, and playing the role of Miss Trunchbull in Matilda.I am currently working as an IT Support Technician at Rust-Oleum's Headquarters in Vernon Hills, IL. I have been learning the tricks and trade of IT and enjoy troubleshooting hardware and software issues for employees. LaSalle Network's technology recruiter, Ashish, assisted me with securing this position and gave me some essential tips in order to ace the interview. I vividly remember receiving a phone call from him within 24 hours after being interviewed by soon-to-be co-workers extending the job offer for this position. I couldn't be more grateful to my friends and family who have supported my career About my background:I've grown up singing, acting, and playing video games since childhood. While I have since put a pause on Music and Theatre, I hold those experiences close to my heart and have made plenty of healthy and long-lasting relationships because of them.
