Overall 20 years of IT industry experience. Started out in small client level hardware sales and service. Started working at Dell(2008) in the client workspace for a few years. Expanded into supporting enterprise server and storage technologies in 2011. Continued growth by moving internally to a group that designed and implemented enterprise server, storage and networking hardware. After that, became a technical team leader and currently supporting a group of remote deployment engineers located across the U.S. Works with other leads and managers from the larger organization to meet new challenges and demands. Reliable point of contact to account managers for product and services pre-sales positioning and consultation. These solutioning engagements often include customer facing calls to inquire about environment and evaluate goals. Skilled in providing great customer experience and enabling others to do the same. Normal duties include handling customer service escalations on behalf of team members, process management, project management, as well as training and development of team members. In order to support and grow the team, is responsible for maintaining knowledge on policy and procedure and creating improvements continuously. In addition to policy and procedure, responsible for own personal technical training to maintain relevancy and for communication with customers, sales and colleagues. Based on demand and forecast reports, helps by assessing and advising team members on which products, technologies, or skillsets they should focus on learning to be ahead of the curve.
