I am currently a full-time student at the University of Arkansas in the marketing program. I work part-time at Lowe's in order fulfillment to pay the bills. I intend to apply for grad school in law and become an attorney, potentially specializing in business or patent law with my marketing background.I am very self-motivated; I was raised in Wichita, KS, and objectively had a decent future for myself there. I aimed to finish my associate's in business administration at Butler Community College, transfer my credits to Wichita State University and earn a bachelor's degree in the same field, then find an internship and live my American dream. However, due to issues that arose in my family and community, I couldn't remain there. I moved to Arkansas for a fresh start and created a new plan that aligned with my values and aimed for a future I truly wanted for myself.I have learned to be very resilient, to take calculated risks, and to commit to a course of action. I have learned the value of good connections and relationships, and I prioritize expanding and maintaining a network of good people wherever possible. I seek to build good rapport and respect with people by making myself reliable and effective at my given roles. I am motivated by my hope and plan to practice law because I see strong intrinsic value in it. Any job or connection that helps me on that path becomes a part of that plan, and I will treat it with the same optimism, motivation, and passion.
