Strive to get every job RFT and provide alternatives like fabrication and refurbishment of spare parts. Create an online fleet management system to optimize fleet maintenance and vehicle availability using share points. Develop & drive staff KPIs, productivity indices, training, discipline & team succession plan. Drive the annual business plan Availability, CPK & GP margin by engaging periodic review of actual performance against budget plan with contingency plan. Monitor performance against the Contracts while managing internal and external expectations. Liaise with HSEQ unit to do risk assessments and undertake regular reviews with them adequately and effectively.

-Organize and coordinate the Maintenance and operations of the Plant’s fleet of vehicles and facilities at the highest operational efficiency in a cost effective manner such that breakdown/downtime and costs are minimized-Ensure that maintenance of fleet and facilities are carried out efficiently, in line with operational budgets and are adequately supported by spare parts and manpower- Responsible for all workshop operations including remote sites (Depots) and recovery operations- Design and implement preventative maintenance programs - Implement and supervision a comprehensive records management system-Determine spare parts requirements and ensure their availability, at an economic level through an efficient ordering system- Oversees safety programs for Maintenance Unit; assists with action planning for safety programs- Oversee efficiency of the operation, including all fleet systems training, licenses, safety and Vehicle Accident-Supervises proper action in cases of accident, ensures the broken down or accident vehicles are recovered and relevant reports are made-Evaluate vehicles and equipment for write-off action if they are beyond economical repair and unroadworthy-Provide effective leadership to staff and develop the capabilities of subordinates through well programmed on-the-job and off-the-job training-Prepare monthly and annual consolidated report on maintenance and operational activities.
