The Student Representative Assembly (SRA), the governing body of the MSU, is composed of 35 undergraduate students elected by their peers, inside each academic division. Together, the SRA works to provide the best possible MSU services and departments, represent and address the concerns of undergraduate students, and lobby the University to improve McMaster’s academic quality.

The Internal Governance Committee is tasked with updating, changing, and making recommendations on the governing documents of the MSU, as well as dealing with policy statements, which outlines the MSU’s position on a wide variety of matters. This committee is vital to the MSU and the greater student population as it focuses on the long-term considerations of the MSU.

ReCoat is a sustainability initiative at McMaster University that partners with the McMaster community to keep lab coats in the lab and not the landfill. By disrupting the Make-Take-Waste linear journey of a McMaster lab coat: we improve economic equity by offering free recirculated lab coats, improve safety by sanitizing lab coats, and support campus carbon reduction goals by eliminating used lab coat waste.

Deliver comprehensive tours of the McMaster Biological Grenhouse to a variety of individuals and facilitate educational sessions for students interested in phytology.
