Performs daily storeroom activities; issues medical supplies, receives and delivers packages and medical supplies, and responds to clinical unit requests for supplies. Responsibilities include: orders, receives, and replenishes medical supplies for clinical units; cleans, straightens and restocks medical supplies anticipating the needs of the units. Knowledgeable of hospital medical supplies and inventory. Cross- trained in the stocking and replenishment of multiple clinical units. Performs the stocking and replenishment of clinical units. Goodyear, Az

Performed various types of internal audits across multiple areas of the building for reporting DC accuracy:Carton labeling, Freight bill signing accuracy, Outbound Breakpack and semi-bulk totes, Shipping cartons scanned to trailer, Shipping pallet license scanned to trailer, Claims/Defectives totes. Also performed vendor certification audits. Captured and documented vendor compliance issues throughout the different departments. Ran reports, entered data, worked special project throughout the DC and other duties assigned.

Greater San Diego Area

Daily responsibilities include: utilizing One Link order database system to retrieve ordering requisitions, order processing via fax, email, and phone, as well as follow-­up of said orders. Responsible for serving internal customers (main hospital) and external customers (outside regional clinics), timely preparation and expedition of purchase orders, order confirmations and delivery notes within 48 hours (or 24 for emergent/ overnight cases), and anticipation of overages/ shortages in supply orders. Duties also include 6-­ 8 month daily inventory control rotations, processing P.O. Query reports to identify vendor contracts, and processing consignment purchase orders. Liaison between hospital and vendor representatives, i.e. Owens and Minor, Fischer Healthcare, Cardinal Health, etc.
