I am studying computer science and psychology at Dalhousie university. I hope to purse a career in machine learning and hopefully develop the skills needed to independently make small mobile apps for app market places. It was my responsibility to take construction designs from architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, structural engineers, and others, then combined them into one schematic that fits all designs within the same space.In basic terms, a Building Systems Coordinator decides where all pipes, ventilation ducts, wires, and other unseen systems are placed within walls and ceiling space. Some construction projects take place without Building Systems Coordinators, but our role is to cut down on wasted materials and work hours by planning things through properly the first time. measure twice, cut once. For this reason, we mostly worked on larger buildings which had more complicated systems. One notable building was Halifax's Nova Centre which is by far the largest build in the city.
