Detailing Group Leader
CurrentTeam Development- Supports their teammate’s personal continuous improvement process by providing encouragement, expectations, and opportunities for targeted growth- Understands and develops the fundamental roles of a detailer and checker including but not limited to: organization, thoroughness, focus, professionalism, teamwork, accuracy, accountability, patience, flexibility, ability to handle multiple tasks, application of common sense rules, product knowledge, and positive attitude- Leads, guides, and mobilizes the energy and talent of their teammates in the pursuit of department and division goals- Leads or assists in training for group teammates in their job skill development; provides honest assessment for the teammates in their group; recommends and or implements promotions and accountability- Gives and receives timely feedback and guidance through daily communication and scheduled performance progress sessions- Improves the group’s performance in a manner that increases profitability- Has an attitude about work that is positive and attractive for others to follow and motivates coworkers- Is self-motivated, trustworthy, and honest regarding their work tasks and opinions and offers or receives constructive input when requested or necessary- Has the integrity, honesty, and courage to do what they say they will do- Represents their group’s and the detailing department’s concerns in a variety of meetings and reflects a commitment to quality, improvement, and productivity- Encourages teammates to think outside the box and look for ways that we can win while helping our customer winProject Coordination- Has a strong knowledge of metal buildings, and a general understanding of the detailing process- Assists teammates with decision making and direction concerning the scope and clarifications made throughout a project’s duration.- Manages the order activity and paperwork for the projects in his/her group- Continued below...
