I was selected to go on the expedition to Antarctica in 2014 with Sir Robert Swan and his team to study the effects of global warming and climate change on Antarctica. Since returning from the continent I have taken up the responsibility of championing the cause of the Antarctic Treaty by spreading awareness.• Organise fund-raising initiatives to fund my expedition cost.• I have held seminars with audiences exceeding a thousand people.• I have led several environmental initiatives and campaigns in the country.• Led a team of students and developed strategies to encourage the younger generation to adopt a 'greener' lifestyle.

• Designed and developed models of the nozzles of the fuel injector which would allow for a higher cup-flow than the current production nozzles• Prepared test conditions to test component failures and analyzed data after conducting the tests using Minitab• Actively participated in design reviews for fuel injector components

2 Non-profit organizations focus on disaster rehabilitation in rural villages of South Asia. We have 2 large project centers: Tsunami rehabilitation in a coastal South Indian village, and earthquake rehabilitation in Nepal.The team is currently spread across multiple countries including the US, UK, UAE, and India.Our efforts have been featured in USA Today, U of I Engineering, the Daily Illini, and local newspapers in other countries.

• Worked on setting up and managing the inventory control for the engine parts.• Trained to assemble and dis-assemble the Low-Pressure Turbines of the GE90 engines • Conducted Borescope checks on the turbines after their test runs to check for any on-site damages.

•Worked along with scientists in the laboratory to verify the texture, hardness and grade of the cutting tools.•Worked in the welding and forging department and handled the friction welding and roll forging machines.•Designed innovative solutions on Solidworks along with the R&D team to increase the efficiency of the factory.

I interned at Life Pharmacy to raise funds for my expedition Antarctica. I had to manage the launch of a new product and my job description included the following:• Handle the launch of a new OTC product. My team and I had to develop comprehensive strategies to boost the sales of the product.• Analyse the data from the local markets to construct an ideal platform to release the product into the market.• I also had to implement the strategies myself; I worked at the pharmacy for 3 weeks and interacted with the customers.
