Coordinate parish wide initiatives around understanding and celebrating difference within a diverse congregation. Assess the needs of the church and its ministries according to multi-cultural training for intercultural communication and emotional intelligence. Lead and train parishioners in the skills needed for courage's conversations and being allies in the work for social justice.

I work in creating weekly programs that deal with empowering youth to explore their faith and their role in the world around them. Planning and coordinating youth retreats focused around getting away from our usual busy life to reflect and be present to ourselves and each other. I also work on planning Transformation Journeys with the goal of education and guiding students through experiences in different social locations. I coordinate volunteers on a weekly basis. My psychology back ground equips me for a more informed and empathetic approach to pastoral care.

LSCC roots are in the Latino and LGBTQ community, inspiring our goal to engage the communities around us as a product that cares about the consumer and the earth.
