The mentorship programme included providing training to the Board and Board Committees on Strategy Formulation, Policy Development, Supervision, Risk Management, Business Continuity, Governance and Ethics and Financial Management. One of the CFIs, Ziphakamise Co-op Bank, was successfully registered as a Co-operative Bank as a result of the intervention. DAI - PIND Partnership Nigeria: DAI assisted the Chevron Corporation with the strategic design of the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND), a Nigerian-registered foundation, conceptualizing a strategy for its economic development program, specifically orienting its activities around a market systems approach and developing monitoring and evaluating mechanisms to document their impact.
