These are focused on strengthening the capacity of justice service providers across Uganda to improve their response to instances of Violence Against Women (VAW), Violence Against Children (VAC) and Harmful Practices (HP). Not limited to, Organizing, compiling and processing information from donors, Regional Office, and programme team, as inputs to various databases and documents, Supporting in programme planning and design for activities with implementing partners, including contributing to the preparation of budgets, and work plans, Supporting the Director of Programmes in the maintenance of programme tools including updating them on regular basis. Providing support and guidance to field team and help in coordination of various field activities. Providing high-quality editing and formatting for program related documents intended for external audiences, including but not limited to communication materials and donor reports. Ensuring to maintain and update the program documentation archiving system in collaboration with Task leads and the programme Manager. Supporting program staff in organizing and managing workshops or trainings as required. Providing support to the Lead, Programme Management and Project Managers in preparation of budget for activities and work with the accounting team to ensure funds are disbursed in a timely and appropriate manner.

Since the beginning of its operations, LWF has provided both emergency and development support.Planned, developed, coordinated, implemented, supervised, and monitor all project activities of Emergency Protection, Health, and Livelihood (PHL) Project. Prepared requisitions for procurement of required Project items/supplies in line with LWF policies, guidelines, and procedures. I Supervised Project Assistants plus ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in their performance. Monitored the progress of the PHL project to ensure LWF delivers the quality outcomes agreed upon, outputs and services as formulated in the approved project proposal. Provided strategic and technical guidance on key components of LWF humanitarian interventions to foster good practices and ensure that minimum standards are met. Conducted regular field visits to monitor the progress of PHL project on the ground and ensure effective oversight of and support of taking corrective action without delay. Coordinated closely with the stakeholders, partners, beneficiaries and local leaders and optimum utilization of project items provided within the approved budget. Ensured all project-based needs and requirements are timely and efficiently shared with support services (M&E, Adimin and Procurement) for best coordinated implementation. Strengthened advocacy pathway to education, WASH, Child protection, GBV and SRHR. Lead the gender related design, mainstream gender, and startup phase of the project.

Our primary mission is to improve health of society through strengthening collaboration between the traditional and biomedical health care systems through advocacy, research, capacity development, partnerships and service-linkages.About USAID BETTER OUTCOMES PROJECT:THETA -Uganda in collaboration with World Education Inc. / Bantwana (WEI/B) the financial support from USAID are implementing a BETTER OUTCOMES PROJECT for Children and Youth in Eastern and Northern Uganda. The purpose of the project is to improve access to comprehensive services across the continuum of HIV care and to help vulnerable children and care givers prevent and respond to HIV, violence and other adversities that impact child wellbeing in Northern Uganda, including the District of Lira, Dokolo, and Kole.Job Summary: I Provided oversight and coordination support for the parenting activities in the district. Participated in the development of budget, project annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly work plans and scheduling of parenting and ECD capacity building activities in the community of Lira, Kole and Dokolo district. Provided mentorship, support supervision and coaching of community Structures to enable them spearhead delivery of positive parenting services to beneficiary households. Linking children 3-6 years to over 50 ECD centres in the community. Participated and work with project staff and community structures to ensure harmonized planning and implementation of activities in respective thematic areas to achieve project goals. Supervising the 30 ECD and 30 Sinovuya Facilitators. Coordinated planning and implementation of community dialogue meetings and Parenting outreaches at community level to strengthen parenting practices. Maintained harmonious and constructive relationship with all stakeholders in the project.

Global Health Network (U), a charity not for profit- non-governmental organization works with over 108,000 people, increasing access to RH/FP services and supplies; antenatal care support, delivery care support, new born care, health promotion, nutrition support, growth monitoring, birth and death registration, STI prevention/control, immunization, and public health awareness on diarrhea prevention/control and through a variety of other wrap around services aimed at offering basic life support services.Job Summary: Supported the Program coordinator in regular coordination implementation of project activities. And sphere head the child survival projects activities, through training and oversight of field agents on methodology, responsibilities, and group mentorship for women health groups in Oyam, Dokolo and Otuke district. Assisted in preparation of training materials and manuals and help to conducted necessary training and workshops at different levels. I ensured children are in safe, nurturing environment as well as at home through Promoting health education for both child and mother within the communities. Also supervised and provided information and relevant skills to support staff/community structures like VHTs to better execute their duties on maternal and child health.

War Child UK works in conflict-affected Countries providing life-changing support to the most vulnerable children whose families, communities and schools have been torn apart by war. Our vital work includes:-Protection; Creating safe spaces where children can escape from battlefields or dangers of life on the streets.Education; Getting children into school or informal education after conflict or poverty has cost them the chance of an education. Livelihoods; Helping young people and their families learn the vocational skills they can earn a sustainable income from.Advocacy; Helping children get their voices heard and their rights met, and helping local people to protect their children better.Job Summary: As Project Officer I was assisting programme coordinators in day-to-day management and supervision of rights, education, and community child protection project activities, ensuring the project has adequate resources needed. I also ensured all 30 Child Rights Clubs (CRCs) are active and operational in all project schools plus all beneficiaries in schools are supported to enjoy their rights. This was done though supporting project teams and schools’ authorities to track all the project beneficiaries to ensure that they are in school and learning. In addition, I monitored implementation of action plans drawn by schools during multimedia advocacy campaign to address factors affecting children’s learning. Management of project beneficiary database and update was regularly under my jurisdiction, as well as developing activity work plans and producing progress reports regularly. This I used to do because I was the focal person for school authorities in respect to Comic relief project supported children in schools within Agago and Pader District. I also followed up on cases of child abuse involving the project beneficiaries at school level and within the community to give appropriate support deemed necessary.
