For over nine years, I have been working in various aspects of protection, youth skilling, business support, and management, with a focus on community-based solutions and collaborative efforts with stakeholders. I have a Master of Arts in Development Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, which equip me with the skills and knowledge to provide impactful technical and strategic leadership in the development sector.My recent role has been a Program Associate at International Justice Mission (IJM), an international human rights organization that works to ensure that all, especially the most vulnerable, have proper and appropriate access to justice. I support the delivery of multiple donor-funded programs that aim to strengthen the capacity of justice service providers across Uganda to improve their response to instances of child abuse, gender-based violence, and other forms of injustice. I am proficient in verbal and written communication, evidence analysis, and accountability, and I am passionate about addressing the pressing humanity challenges and catering to the needs of the poor, marginalized, and displaced. My vision is to foster a community where philanthropy and respect are extended to everyone, irrespective of their identity or background.

Participated in the development of budget, project annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly work plans and scheduling of parenting and ECD capacity building activities in the community of Lira, Kole and Dokolo district. Provided mentorship, support supervision and coaching of community Structures to enable them spearhead delivery of positive parenting services to beneficiary households. Linking children 3-6 years to over 50 ECD centres in the community. Participated and work with project staff and community structures to ensure harmonized planning and implementation of activities in respective thematic areas to achieve project goals. Supervising the 30 ECD and 30 Sinovuya Facilitators. Coordinated planning and implementation of community dialogue meetings and Parenting outreaches at community level to strengthen parenting practices. In addition, I monitored implementation of action plans drawn by schools during multimedia advocacy campaign to address factors affecting children’s learning. Management of project beneficiary database and update was regularly under my jurisdiction, as well as developing activity work plans and producing progress reports regularly. This I used to do because I was the focal person for school authorities in respect to Comic relief project supported children in schools within Agago and Pader District. I also followed up on cases of child abuse involving the project beneficiaries at school level and within the community to give appropriate support deemed necessary.
