My name is Isaac Osorio and I am currently an IT Auditor I at BNSF Railway in Fort Worth, Texas. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology and Systems at the University of Texas at Dallas in December of 2022, completing all my program requirements in 3 and a half years. For the first five years of my working life I held several jobs in the restaurant and food field. My past experiences at these jobs have taught me the importance of customer relationships and how to handle unpredictable situations. Such environments have helped me to hone my skills in those areas, and additionally I have become acclimate to fast-paced, high-stress settings that are common in these workplaces. I also had the opportunity to intern at Charles Schwab as an Client Service and Support apprentice, where I learned the fundamentals of the financial world, as well as how to efficiently work and collaborate with my team in a professional setting.With the knowledge I gained from my classes and internships, along with the employment background I have already, I believe I can excel in the IT field due to my customer service experience, familiarity with high-pressure situations, an ability to learn and absorb information quickly on the job. Additionally, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, proficient in the Java coding language, and an extremely devoted and motivated worker. I have taken a great interest in cybersecurity, and hope to soon earn my Security+ certification, as well as possibly a Master's degree in that field.
