With over 17 years of diverse work experience, I am a passionate and dedicated Behavioral Health manager at Veterans Village of San Diego, where I provide counseling and support services to homeless veterans and their families. I have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and an EMT certification, as well as skills in strength and conditioning, weight training, and public speaking. I have also worked as a Behavioral Health Therapist at Alvarado Parkway Institute and a Mental Health Counselor at Community Research Foundation, where I helped clients cope with mental health issues, substance abuse, and trauma. My core competencies include crisis intervention, assessment, treatment planning, group therapy, and case management. My mission is to help veterans heal and thrive by addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs, and empowering them to achieve their goals. I value teamwork, compassion, and respect, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the organization.
