I've been working at Tactical Edge as a Senior Software Engineer for the past 4 years. During this time I have supported 7 java based web applications that are co-hosted and run in a docker containerized environment. These 7 applications all communicate with each other through JMS, and/or Rest calls between each other. These applications ranged in software stack from legacy systems running ADF, to spring boot applications with React front ends. Some of the software libraries used are Spring Boot, Spring, querydsl, blazeJpa, and lombok. All are utilizing java 17. I have worked on the building and deployment of docker containers for these applications and oracle databases, including the patching of oracle containers with the quarterly security updates from oracle. I've worked with docker, docker desktop, and docker swarm configurations.Previously i worked for MetroStar Systems where i had been a Master Application Developer supporting a suite of 6 java based web applications.Previously I had been a software engineer at CTC for 20 years. Over that time I have worked with many web programming languages and architectures including Java, asp, cold fusion, html, javascript, and php. I have used struts, struts 2, spring, and jquery and most recently angularjs. The most recent project I have been on we started using Standard Agile Web Development practices, and I was the scrum master on one of the teams for approximately 6 months.I have also worked on the database side of many web applications. I have worked in Oracle, SQLServer, and MySQL. Both with designing and implementing the databases, and all stored procedures/queries needed for the applications I have worked on.I also currently work at Richland Cinemas as the CTO. I was previously the webmaster and designer for the website. And I setup and maintained all configurations of the webserver, including email, apache/tomcat configuration, spamassassin filtering, and various system configurations. The system was a CentOS system running Plesk for the majority of configurations. We have since moved to other systems for our website and email. I am in charge of supporting the Point of Sale equipment for the theatre, and all business and technical computers in the theatre along with all network security and configurations for the three networks involved.Specialties: Java based web applications with Oracle or MySQL back end databases.
