Fitness is the avenue through which I was able to tackle ALL of my life's challenges. In the gym I learned patience, dedication and perseverance. I learned to take new approaches and adapt. I learned to laugh at my frustrations. I learned that little progress is still progress! I reshaped my whole outlook on life by relating it to how I tackled my workouts. Now, my mission in life is to pass it on to anyone who cares to listen. When I decided to open my first gym, I did it with the intention of creating a community. I sought to create a safe space in which members could work on their individual fitness goals, together. You might be doing deadlifts at 300 lbs while your neighbor is only doing 150, but you are still fighting together. The loudest cheers in our gym are for the person that finished last and pushed through it. THAT is why I still love to wake up and work on Sasquatch Strength every day.
