I am currently working within the energy Industry as a graduate electrical engineer at Stanwell. This onsite role allows me to see plant operate in person and be a part of the works happening every day. I'm passionate to be a part of growing Australia's energy industry for the better!I consider myself to be someone who proactive in finishing tasks, either that be with a team or by oneself. My goal-oriented nature allows me to be focused and successful in my studies and projects that I'm assigned in. My honesty and keenness for others allows me to work together well with teammates and drives me to be people-focused. Below are a few of my key skills:Group-Orientated:In my engineering design practice course, I had to work with 4 other students in order to create a product. This took many hours of contact, through brainstorming, debating, and speaking ideas to each other in order to come up with a solution to the problem we were given. We also had peer reviews fortnightly in which our team members assessed how well we were working for the team, the quality of our work, and if we worked well with the team. My scores showed that my team members did like me, how I co-operated and helped with the project with my input to the team.Professional Communication:In my design engineering courses many times we are required to design a product for a particular scenario. One of those products being interlocking tiles to use against cyclones in order to stop the roof from being torn off of Tongan homes. Our group would have to create a report detailing all of the design features, considerations, costs, and then give presentations to a room full of our markers and classmates. This showed the ability to be able to effectively speak and present ideas to audiences by using all types of media and being able to create a high-quality document. From this, my personal presentation marks were always quite high, usually around 80% while our group report was graded 90% which were both quite high marks which we were proud of. Because of this, I'm confident in my abilities to be able to professionally communicate my ideas either orally or in a written format.
