1. Plan overall mechanical design and testing schedules for upcoming television models, from design conception to mass production, based on delivery targets from our Marketing and Business Management Departments.2. Provide solutions and counter-measures to mechanical design defects that are reported via market claims.3. Perform competitive teardown analysis on our competitors’ television models for benchmarking, design analysis, and new design developments.4. Supervise television assembly lines during Pre-Production and Mass Production to identify and troubleshoot any problems that arise.5. Continue performing responsibilities from previous role as a Mechanical Engineer (below).

1. Design plastic and metal mechanical components related to television sets using Creo, in cooperation with other departments (Electrical, Power, Optical, etc).2. Create 2D technical drawings for mechanical components using AutoCad LT.3. Perform reliability tests on television sets and their packaging to ensure all relevant IEC standards are met.4. Cooperate with tooling makers both local and overseas (China and Indonesia) to attend tooling trials and ensure the plastic injected parts and metal stamped parts meet the desired aesthetic standards as well as dimensional tolerances.5. Correspond with parts suppliers/manufacturers both local and overseas (China and Indonesia) to ensure all necessary parts are readily available during the design process.6. Cooperate with Sharp R&D- and manufacturing-related branches overseas (China and Indonesia) to develop region-specific television models and localise models from different regions.7. Apply value engineering to existing television models to reduce costs.

1. Perform testing and commissioning of products and systems while also providing the necessary training to clients of said products.2. Perform quality control on products, including visual inspections (cracks, stains, etc.) and product testing.3. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on defective or faulty products.4. Assist in tenders or project proposals and relevant documentation.5. Participate in and provide fortnightly training regarding the company's products and systems to the company's staff (including non-technical staff).Notable projects:1. Programmed a piece of proprietary software in C# to convert data from a flow sensor data logger (electrical current and time) into user-friendly data (volumetric flow rate at different times and across different time periods).2. Performed data migration for the Management System for National Hydrological Networks (SPRHiN) from a Tideda system to a Unidata Neon server for over 2000 weather stations across Malaysia.3. Involved in projects for the Ministry of Agriculture (IADA), Malaysian-Japanese International Institute of Technology, Sime Darby Plantations, and Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP).
