With over two decades of experience, I have dedicated my career to promoting child protection and human rights. In my current role at UNICEF, I provide essential writing, editing, and proofreading services that support the organisation’s documentation and advocacy. My work producing high-quality content in Portuguese and English helps amplify the mission’s reach and impact.My background reflects a deep commitment to social justice, rooted in experience across research, journalism, and translation. Through rigorous analysis and the creation of relevant content, I raise awareness and drive change. Journalism has sharpened my ability to clarify complex human rights issues, while translation has broadened access to critical information for diverse audiences. Key contributions include co-authoring a report with ECPAT International on child sexual exploitation in the Latin American tourism sector, implementing Standard Operating Procedures for UNICEF/INAC in Angola to strengthen child protection, and conducting studies on children’s rights in Angola’s plural legal system. Working collaboratively, I aim to create safer environments for children and foster systemic change in favor of equity and justice.
