As an online English tutor, I am certified as a foreign language teacher with over a year of experience. I assist my students in gaining confidence in their English speaking abilities by helping them improve their conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. I offer personalized lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student. Through online teaching, I have the opportunity to communicate with individuals from all corners of the world, improving my ability to interact with individuals from diverse cultures and with varying primary languages. As a result, I have learned the value of patience and compassion.During the period of March 2022 to July 2023, I was employed by Kerf, a small leather company, as a leather worker. My responsibilities included sewing, cutting out patterns, managing and training co-workers, assembling, selling, closing and opening the store, preparing products for shipping, as well as quality control. Throughout this experience, I gained valuable skills in time management and accountability. I had to learn how to pay attention to detail. I also learned the significance of meeting deadlines and the importance of completing tasks thoroughly on the first attempt. Additionally, I became proficient in delivering products promptly.Between August 2020 and February 2022, I served as a personal assistant at B4G Building Projects. My duties included drafting invoices, filing, sending out statements, capturing data, taking stock, and ordering supplies. In this role, I honed my phone etiquette skills and developed the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.I worked as an academic supervisor for the Uys family from May to July 2020. My role was to help their children stay on track with their schoolwork during the pandemic. This included assisting with activities, clarifying any confusing coursework, ensuring they completed the appropriate amount of work each day, and grading their completed assignments. Throughout this experience, I gained valuable skills in patience and time management.I participated in a cultural exchange program from March 2019 to 2020, during which I resided in the United States of America for slightly over a year. I worked as an au pair for the Dziepak family and was responsible for providing childcare services. My duties included cooking, assisting the girls with their homework, driving them to their activities, doing their laundry, playing with them, and bathing them. Throughout my time there, I developed independence and gained self-assurance.
