I interned at the WYFS Teen Center interacting with kids in a social after-school environment. I worked towards providing a safe space for them to express themselves and hang out with their friends while having an ear to listen to and be a role model for them.

I interned at the Wraparound Center at Chapman Middle School and was able to cultivate outreach resources for families and children in the community who may need assistance with housing, food, or mental health. I gained experience in outreach and interaction with families in need, cultivating resources, and fostering relationships in the guidance department that will help me in the future.
