The White Lion Publishing imprint publishes across several core non-fiction categories including travel, food & drink, wellness, visual arts, heritage, sport, gift, gardening, smart thinking, London and popular science. I’m responsible for devising and art-directing illustrated reference books, from initial concept all the way through to final file and approving assets to print, ensuring to deliver designs to the highest possible standard, on schedule, to budget and in accordance with the original brief.

Specialised in publishing substantial works of cultural reference, the bedrock of which was the multi-million-best-selling 1001 Before You Die series. Quintessence also produced a range of innovative and beautifully illustrated reference books and series on popular culture and visual arts in subjects ranging from film, fashion, fine art and photography, to animals, rock bands and bikes.

1 of 7 hand selected CSM graduates invited to participate in a collaborative competition with the international leader in hair and beauty. My winning design concept graced L'Oreal's 'London Addixion' limited edition range of products, launched summer 2012 in hair salons worldwide.

Worked within the fast paced Art Department on the ITV Drama Production Whitechapel Series 3, producing a wide range of graphics for use on set, from product packaging to larger way-finding signage.

Hand selected to take part in collaborative competition between Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton and Central Saint Martins Innovation. The brief was to design signage in the form of an installation piece to be exhibited outside the LVMH sponsored lecture theatre at the new CSM Kings Cross campus. My proposed concept was shortlisted in the top two ideas.
