I undertook a two-week training course learning about sound systems, event lighting, video and stage management to gain this position. Since September, I have stage-managed several Foundry gigs, including Beabadoobe and From the Jam and have designed lights for several club nights.

As a Student Ambassador, I help on open days, give campus tours, answer any queries and communicate my experience at the University of Sheffield to prospective students.

From August 2023 I've been on my placement year at The University of Sheffield, this has involved... - Supporting the planning and delivery of a varied programme of events and 70 work experience schemes for students- Liaising with employers and external providers, coordinating student marketing and communications, handled student and employer enquiries, and maintained accurate records-Throughout the year I managed the day-to-day running of the Cornerstone Employability Hub, ensuring both our drop-in enquiry service and events programme ran smoothly- Supervising a team of 5 Students workers, who staff the drop-in enquiry service. This included coordinating the shift rota, assigning additional work during quieter periods, and supporting more complex enquiries- Coordinating publicity and marketing for the team, including promotional emails, web content, video case studies, as well as capturing good practice case studies- Leading on a ‘Green Careers - Roles in Sustainability’ event, I devised a new ‘scenario based’ approach to our networking events. Worked across four teams with an interest in the project's development, such as Green Impact and Campaign Alumni Relations. This event attracted over 170 sign ups for 40 places.

Head of Documentaries and Features produced by Forge TV, as well as having experience live streaming Sheffield Varsity events in Live Sound and Camera Op positions.

In this committee role, I advise the Geography Society on how to be more environmentally aware. I'm running a social media campaign through the GeogSoc Instagram to spread awareness of things such as 'Fairtrade Fortnight'. In addition, I am co-completing a Green Impact Energy Sustainability Audit project.
