She received her medical degree in 2011 from The University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio and completed her surgical internship and PM&R residency at John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Medical School/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.As an attending physician at UT Southwestern PM&R department, Dr. Huang’s primary focus is on pain management in the Sprague outpatient clinics, especially for individuals suffering from musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative injuries, and neuropathic pain. Her clinical and research interests include pain management, electrodiagnostic medicine, and diagnostic ultrasound. She also performs consultations for acute patients with spasticity, neurotrauma, stroke, amputation, or spinal cord injury at Clements Hospital. Her hospital affiliations include Parkland, Zale, and Clements Hospital. Dr. Huang also works and teaches PM&R resident physicians and medical students. As the director of PM&R Annual Shark Tank competition she is fostering a research oriented residency program.
