The Clean Air and Urban Landscapes (CAUL) Hub is a consortium of four universities, funded under the Australian Government’s National Environmental Science Program. The mission of the CAUL Hub is to take a holistic view on the sustainability and liveability of urban environments, researching air quality, urban ecology, urban planning, urban design, public health and green infrastructure.In this role, I managed CAUL's communications - both external and internal. This involved managing CAUL's social media channels and website, sending out regular internal newsletters, liasing with the Department of the Environment and Energy and working closely with CAUL's Knowledge Broker to leverage media exposure. A key output during my time at the Hub was The Living Pavilion - a transdisciplinary project that brought together Indigenous knowledge, ecological science, sustainable design and participatory arts on a temporary ecological site at the University of Melbourne. Over 2 weeks, 2,000+ people visited the site, where they were encouraged to connect with the Wurundjeri place and 40,000 Kulin Nation plants through hands-on workshops, talks, musical and poetic performances, self-guided and guided tours, and soundscapes that were created as a response to the site.

The Australian Conservation Foundation is Australia’s national environment organisation – over 300,000 people creating a world where forests, rivers, people and wildlife thrive. Through the ACF Fellowship, I worked alongside the Social Media Coordinator in the wider Communication and Mobilisation team. My responsibilities included Facebook advertising, monitoring and metrics; content production for Instagram and Facebook; and, helping plan, implement and manage ACF's volunteer moderator team.

Providing media and research assistance for a number of human rights legal cases.

At the time, this project was the biggest infrastructure project in Victoria, involving the removal of nine of the state’s most dangerous and congested level crossings, construction of 5 new elevated train stations and the creation of 25 hectares of open space underneath the elevated track. In this role, I worked predominantly on the development and implementation of the Women in Infrastructure @ CTD program. This 12-month program was designed to provide women working on the CTD project with different events, networking opportunities and workshops to help build support and skills.

Open Food Network is a non-for-profit working to increase access to fair food - for both eaters and producers. Through open-source software, Open Food Network functions as an online marketplace where producers can control their stock and eaters can easily browse produce in their area.This role required me to work alongside the Communications Director in developing and adhering to OFN's communication strategy. I was responsible for creating new content for the OFN learn site, such as case studies of different enterprises and resources for different producers. I also helped curate targeted and cohesive messages for OFN's social media and plan events to promote the organisation.

We are part of a global movement for change, one that empowers people to create a future that is secure, just, and free from poverty.Working within Oxfam's Executive Administrative department, I was principally responsible for organising and updating the organisation's Policy Register to ensure cohesion across different departments.
