As the Director of Operations I work directly with the Founder and President of GrayBits to make decisions for operational scheduling and set strategic goals both short term and long term for the company. I plan and monitor the day to day to ensure timely progress for projects while supervising team and providing constructive feedback on milestones and deliverables. My role at GrayBits evaluates the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements when possible. I assist in the procurement of processes and coordinate that team members have necessary resources or assets from clients. I oversee client services and am the main point of contact for scheduling reviews, payments, as well as organizing communication to ensure client satisfaction on deliverables and milestones. I review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability. I revise and/or formulate internal policies and promote their implementation. I manage all formal documents from proposals, quotes, and contracts. I also work with my team to ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations such as web accessibility.

As business manager I oversee all new business focusing on generating leads, quotes, budgets, timelines, and RFP documents. I advise on marketing, communication, and business growth strategy and accounting. Past clients include: Fleisher/Ollman Gallery, SingleThread Farms, Christene Barberich, Kounkuey Design Initiative, Vance Wellenstein, Partisan Records, Blum + Poe, Marlborough Gallery, and Chicago Architecture Biennial. GrayBits is a design and development studio dedicated to consulting in the best practices of web design and digital tools. We use our own CMS, GrayMatter, and ecommerce engine, GreenMatter, to design and develop websites and other digital tools that businesses need today for marketing, sales or internal communication. Our practice focuses on making truly responsive designs, building user-friendly backend interfaces and implementing designsthat are ADA compliant.We work with companies and organizations from varied backgrounds and seek challenging and unique projects that demand a flexible but organized approach.
