Duties:- Responsibility for the Buying strategy and direction of the brand working on a wide range of fashion clothing.- Source, develop, manage, review, appraise and improve product ranges in line with brand ambition, customer and market trend.- Manage the pricing strategy including competitor bench-marking, negotiating costs and quantities with suppliers, ensuring intake margin is met or exceeded whilst meeting customer expectation on price and quality.- Identify new business opportunities to grow sales and profitability.- Category review to ensure the product ranges are up to date and assess general stock refreshing categories with new lines in the marketSourcing new products to ensure the range is competitive in the market- Supplier Development - Identify performance gaps within the supplier base specific to the Business Unit and develop improvement plans for the identified gaps. Offering guidance and adherence to ethical audit requirements.- Review wssi on a weekly basis to ensure we are hitting monthly intake targets and leaving cash aside for repeats/otb.- Manage the performance of the team, setting objectives, giving regular feedback and addressing poor performance.- Managing production plans, critical paths, problem solving and clearly communicating to ensure orders are kept on time.- To continually search for new suppliers and opportunities to deliver margin targets, in line with ethical sourcing, strategic business plans and to increase profit.

- To support and implement a global sourcing strategy delivering best in class suppliers enabling the buying and merchandising teams to improve their KPI’s- Continuously review supply chain to ensure that key suppliers are performing, working alongside the planning capacity team- Support the Development of a supplier scorecard to ensure that consistent supplier updates are delivered to the business and supply chain, building a monthly report- Involve in the analysis of retail market, competitors to develop strategic sourcing strategy and business goal- Reviewing the materials previously used and identifying areas for improvement in quality and design- Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy- Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices- Build relationships with vendors and key suppliers- Developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships- Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers- Support the Head of Sourcing to the Sourcing strategy
