The focus of my research was connection systems of reticulated shells (gridshells) in a parametric environment (Rhino/Grasshopper). I also studied topology optimization of ultra-high performance concrete for a research project.

Teaching Assistant of Structures in Architecture III: Reticulated Systems

I worked on the “Casa Atlântica” project, a residential building designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, dimensioning post-stressed concrete beams. I also worked on structural verification of a shopping mall, and the structural plans for the 4th subway line in Rio de Janeiro.

I worked as an intern in the project management team.

I was a TA in “Resistência dos Materiais I” (Materials Resistance) course in PUC-Rio for a semester.

I was a summer intern at TZA during the academic year abroad at Cornell University. Although I was a structural engineer major, I was keen to learn more about architecture, and this was a great opportunity for that.
