These are the words that guide me in my work and what I encourage as a leader.It is a guide that has served me well over 18 years of working in leadership roles in business development, stakeholder engagement, global resource mobilisation, communications and marketing for international NGOs and Private Sector organisations. My current role at City Cancer Challenge is to build a deeply connected organisation, serving all of our stakeholders and realising our vision of creating trusting, transversal relationships & partnerships, while always putting the patient at the centre. As a genuine advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, I believe that having an open mind-set and a deep curiosity are the best ways to understand those around me. I like to challenge the way things are done and hold others and myself accountable. My goal is to build a purpose-driven culture, where leaders model the values and behaviours they expect from others. My commitment to my team is to keep us all connected to our vision, to each other, and to what enables us to make meaning every day. Together with my husband, our 2 kids, and 2 dogs, I live on a vineyard and enjoy the slower pace that the countryside offers.
