My name is Isabel Pijnenburg, a 23-year-old from Tilburg with a background in IT and a bachelor's degree in ICT specializing in software and game development. During my studies, I gained extensive experience with the Unity game engine and the programming language C#, and also worked with Java, Git, and SQL.My interest in IT began in high school during computer science classes, where I was drawn to the opportunity to be creative, think analytically, and solve challenging problems. Throughout my education, I discovered the power of programming in addressing societal issues.One memorable project focused on depressed children aged 12-14 awaiting youth care. Together with my project group, we developed a concept and prototype, the first version of which will soon be released to market. Knowing that I could make a difference for this vulnerable group energizes me, and I take pride in the final outcome.I am a self-motivated individual who sees setbacks as motivation to achieve my goals. I chose a traineeship at Calco to deepen my IT interests and explore the best direction within this field for me. There, I learned to be more open and assertive in communication, enhancing my effectiveness in team settings.Now, I am seeking opportunities to further develop my skills within a people-oriented company dedicated to fostering an inclusive society. With my background and passion for IT, I aim to contribute to projects that have a positive societal impact.
