A primary component of the program, Neighborhood Stat (NSTAT), aims to enhance safety by strengthening collaboration and capacity among community residents. As discussed, this position supports the implementation of action plans across 15 sites in the 5 boroughs, which includes built environment projects, public space programming, and social programs; among other duties outlined in the provided job description.

With a background in urbanism, architecture, and community engagement, my main interests revolve around the role of design in expanding open decision-making process where communities are empowered to shape their own built environment. I am a facilitator, creative researcher and critical thinker. I strongly believe that design thinking can bridge topics not yet linked, which can contribute to find ways to create a more just society.I am interest in the relationship of conflict and memory and the role of design in expanding human rights in a globalizing age.Currently I am an intern at WXY Studio, where I had the opportunity to work in projects of different scales; from architecture to urban design and planning.
