As a committed student immersed in Chicano and Latino Studies at Los Angeles Mission College, I am passionate about exploring and advocating for the diverse cultural identities and social issues within the Chicano and Latino communities. Through rigorous coursework and engagement with literature, history, and contemporary issues, I aim to contribute meaningfully to cultural understanding and social equity. In tandem with my academic journey, I serve as a Cybernaut at Managed Career Services, where I assist patrons at the Los Angeles Public Library in navigating and overcoming basic technology challenges. With a patient and empathetic approach, I empower individuals from various backgrounds to enhance their digital literacy skills, enabling them to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. My roles as a student and Cybernaut synergistically reinforce each other, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to practical community engagement. I am eager to leverage my academic insights in Chicano and Latino Studies alongside my proficiency in technology to foster inclusive environments and promote cultural awareness.
