We imagine, design and develop innovative online courses in all fields. Our team works closely with you, your team and subject matter experts in your field to create the courses to guide and develop your teams. Our Liminaire team breathes innovation and loves challenges, so if you can imagine it, we can probably find a way to build it!We also host courses on our LMS for clients. We walk with you every step of the way, from first recruitments to uploading your employees to the LMS, and then following up with them to make sure they access and most importantly, complete the course. Our Liminaires provide ongoing real-time hands-on support (you don't speak to a bot!), making sure that we keep users engaged and learning. Some of our past courses have included Problem Solving courses for the South African Maths Foundation, Assessing Research Excellence for the Association of African Universities and ICT Integrating courses for the leaders and lecturers at Malawi's teacher training colleges and the teachers at their teaching practice schools. We also work closely with the University of Stellenbosch's Centre for Pedagogies (SUNCEP), providing short courses for teachers across South Africa. We just our success in different ways. Feedback from our users becomes our yardstick. Their feedback critically guides how we reimagine course design, and refine how we create learning experiences to maximize learning. Feedback from our clients is critical to improve our communication strategies and maximize not only course design processes, but also the delivery and monitoring and evaluation strategies. Repeated and regular feedback from our Liminaires with clients and users allow us to address challenges as they arise, and to use agile design to adapt to individual or group needs. We're a South African company, playing with tech to innovate unthought-of, unconventional and unique learning processes that define the curve and develop state-of-the-art design processes.

Inspiring teachers to create and innovate with education technologies!

We work alongside people to identify the real life problems they experience each and every day, then work WITH them to narrow down the problem and find potential solutions for it. We then work ALONGSIDE them to plot out the journey towards changing their everyday practice to change their practice and discourse towards overcoming their problem / working in a solution space.

I am increasingly convinced that, like the great works of Da Vinci, Mozart and Picasso, teaching, at any level, is an art form, honed over many years and crafted from the heart. While the tools we use in classrooms change, the art of an educator can never be replaced! As an Integration Specialist I work with teachers, strengthening and deepening their own 21st century skills and helping them creating Learning Designs that meaningfully integrate emerging technologies into the very fiber of their classroom practice. In this way I invest in people rather than things, as educators from school teachers to university lecturers, create, innovate and play in carefully crafted ePlay MakerSpaces!

PhD Research focuses on: Digital engagement of Gr 7 Western Cape Students to establish what digital texts learners across a range of social, economic, historic etc backgrounds engage with and what correlation there might exist between socio-economic circumstances, gender and other background factors, and their engagement.In between I do freelance authoring for various publishers.
